We’ve got some really exciting news; Siply V2 is coming!

Siply V2 is about to launch… um and it’s a bit later than we promised!

But we have a no takes-backsies date of the 20th October for launch.

We’ve listened to your feedback and changed the app to make it WAY easier and fun to use.

I’m going to be digging into that in a second, but what we want to talk to you about first is our new Siply voice.

If I’m being honest, Siply was a little dry with our communication at times.

Well, this s**t stops now!

Starting today, our communication is going to reflect a bit more about who we are.

We’re going to swear more, take bigger stands on things and generally stop giving as many f**ks as we used to.

That doesn’t mean we’re going to just start throwing in curse words for the sake of it.

And it definitely doesn’t mean we’re planning on bad-mouthing our competitors.

But it does mean that when we think something is really good or when we think something is really bad, or maybe when we’re excited or maybe when I’m drunk on a Tuesday, at 11am….. You might find the language gets a little saucy.

OK, now you’re prepared, we’re going to stop beeping stuff, so stick ear muffs on the kids, because it’s only for the adults from now on!

Version Two of Siply (AKA Non-Beta Siply)

Now, we mentioned that we’ve got a bunch of changes coming for version 2 of Siply and I’m really excited about them.

We took all your feedback from version 1 and we personally delegated the task to fix all of it… to other people… so we could spend more time at the beach this summer.

Thankfully they’re much harder workers than me and got everything running smooth as silk.

First off:

Credits

OK we know, we know. Credits sucked. we swear, they actually had their place when we started Siply ages ago, but we 100% agree with you all – they had to go.

Instead, we’ve moved to a straight-up $ model. What this means is that you’ll see the exact discount you’re getting on each drink as you’re buying it…

… rather than having to remember how much you bought each credit for and doing elaborate math in your head when all you want is a damn coffee.

I’m sorry, we didn’t mean to be such assholes to you.

Dashboard

You’ll see that we got rid of all the distracting crap and we now show you how much money you have on your account and how much you’ve saved.

On the subject of money, anything you have on your account now will fully transfer over to the new version of Siply.

In actual fact, it’s better than that. Don’t forget that credits are worth more than $, so you’ll actually be getting loads more money than you paid for originally.

It’s just our way of saying thanks for supporting us over the last year of beta testing.

You’re not going to be able to use the old version of the app when we upgrade, so it’s really important that you update the app when the new version is released on the 20th.
